Lip enhancement

Lip enhancement

Not everyone is blessed with full lips and as we age our lips naturally lose volume and change shape. While this is a purely cosmetic problem, help is at hand. Lip fillers are a popular way of restoring or adding volume, and subtly changing the shape of your lips. Using hyaluronic acid – a substance found naturally in the body – we can enhance what nature gave you, giving you a perfectly plump pout.

Our skilled practitioners will make small changes to your lips that will make a big difference to your confidence. By carefully injecting small quantities of hyaluronic acid into your lips we can increase their size and create more definition – accentuating your cupids bow for a naturally curvaceous result.

The treatment itself is quick – lasting approximately 30 minutes – and comfortable thanks to a local anaesthetic. The use of hyaluronic acid gives us maximum control over the results, allowing us to use just the right amount to achieve a natural result.

You might find that your lips are slightly swollen just after the treatment but this should subside within 24 hours. The results should last for up to six months, sometimes longer.

Wrinkle reduction

Wrinkle reduction

We believe that real beauty is more than skin deep, we also appreciate the confidence boost that looking your best can bring. Thanks to the latest cosmetic treatments, everyone should have the chance to look as good as they feel.

Overtime our skins cells become less effective at repairing themselves, and we produce less collagen. This causes our skin to become thinner and lose its youthful glow.

This is where we can help. Using the most advanced anti-ageing treatments, we can help you to roll back the years – and achieve natural and radiant results.

Anti-wrinkle injections are a popular – and highly effective – way of treating lines and wrinkles. and reveal a brighter, smoother complexion.

After one treatment the effects will last for up to four months; many of our patients choose to maintain their results through regular appointments. If you’re nervous about looking unnatural, or ‘frozen’, don’t worry. Our experienced team will help you to achieve a natural and expressive result that still looks like you.

Cosmetic contouring

Cosmetic contouring

This treatment is often known as contouring of teeth. Tooth reshaping involves careful adjustment to your teeth to create better shapes and sizes to enhance your smile. Tooth reshaping can either be done alone, or in conjunction with porcelain veneers to correct other teeth shapes.

Tooth reshaping is where we contour / file a tooth into a slightly better shape to make it look better. The tips of your teeth can often be a little out of shape, or one tooth is a little longer than another, and filing the tip slightly, can improve the appearance of your tooth, and in some cases – the whole look of your smile.

Tooth contouring is commonly used when the upper teeth have been veneered, and you want to improve the appearance of the lower teeth without having to veneer them. Often your lower teeth can be a little bit crooked, and filing the tips of them along the biting edge can give them the illusion of them being straighter.

What is Airflow polishing

Airflow’s nozzle with shoot out a high pressured and concentrated blast of water, air, and bicarbonate (usually a lemon flavour) at the surfaces of your teeth. Airflow is very effective at cleaning teeth and will also clean the hard to reach places (nooks and cranny’s), leaving you feeling very fresh.

Healthy gums

Healthy gums

Your gums provide the foundations for your teeth. Poor foundations result in loose teeth, red or swollen gums and bleeding when brushing which are all signs you have a form of gum disease (gingivitis).
When gingivitis is left untreated it can develop further into a type of infection known as periodontitis, which affects the entire area surrounding the tooth, which could result in losing the tooth.
Whilst it is important to have a regular home cleaning routine, it is highly recommended that you have regular hygiene therapy too. The hygienist uses special tools to clean below the gum line, a place that a toothbrush can’t reach. It is by deep cleaning the gums around the teeth that you will maintain healthy, strong teeth and reduce the risk of gum disease.

Dentures

Dentures

Acrylic dentures often require metal clasps to help secure them.
These clasps, depending on their position, can be unsightly.
Also, the rigidity of acrylic makes it prone to breaking.
New flexible dentures help deal with both of these issues.

There is now an alternative to a plastic denture.
Plastic dentures can be heavy ...
... and also cover a large area of the palate ...
... effecting heat and taste sensitivity.
Chrome dentures can solve all these problems.
